The reason for the meeting was the treatment of the business community regarding the procedures for obligatory certification of immunobiological medicinal products veterinary use.
Michael Matveenko told about the requirements of the legislation, including on the criteria of the Federal service for accreditation to the accredited certification bodies for documentary making on the part of applicants, as well as on the procedure of pricing in the field of certification services. The meeting participants discussed the differences in the registration documents of medicines domestic and foreign production. In the certification of the fgbi "VGNKI" last year received about 400 applications from manufacturers of veterinary medicines, and for the first nine months of the current year the number of applications for certification has decreased by half while maintaining the volume and range of vaccines in use. The main reason for this is probably the import of foreign veterinary drugs through Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
In addition, Michael Matveenko spoke about the work of these expert bodies exercising control over immunobiological veterinary drugs after release into circulation in the EU and USA, as well as existing in these countries, control of these structures.
In turn, the Executive Director of the Russian veterinary Association Sergey Lakhturov noted that under the current system of certification of domestic manufacturers of drugs for veterinary use have to consider the narrowing of the range of products. Only a productive dialogue between regulatory authorities and manufacturers will be able to normalize the situation and contribute to the competitiveness of the Russian veterinary drugs in the domestic market, said Executive Director of the Association.
Summarizing the results of the meeting agreement was reached on holding working meetings at the sites of the Russian veterinary Association.
