"In connection with the improvement of the epizootic situation concerning low pathogenic avian influenza on the territory of Sweden 18 September 2018 cancelled temporary restrictions on exports to the Russian Federation of live poultry and hatching eggs, poultry meat, finished meat products of poultry and all poultry products", — stated in the message.

According to the world health organization, avian influenza is an infectious viral disease of birds, often occurring without any obvious signs or symptoms. In some cases, the virus may overcome the species barrier and cause disease or asymptomatic infections in humans and animals.
