New high-tech equipment will allow to develop the deep processing of milk to obtain whey, which can be used for the production of new dairy and functional foods and the treatment plant will reduce the environmental load of the enterprise in the city.

Rubtsovsk dairy plant is a subsidiary of the company "Vimm-the bill-Dann" (included in GC PepsiCo), every day it produces about 70 tons of cheese.

As announced at the launching ceremony, the acting head of the Altai territory of food manufacturing, processing and pharmaceutical industry and biotechnologies Tatyana Zelenina, investment in treatment facilities amounted to 262 million rubles in the production of 136 million rubles,

"The development of the whey processing is an important technological solution which will help to expand the waste-free production at the enterprise, increase the life cycle of raw milk and allows you to use obtained as a result of processing whey products for manufacturing new products," cited the press service of the President's words "PepsiCo Russia" by Neil Larroca, launched a new production line.

On the eve of Sturrock met with the Governor of the Altai territory Viktor Tomenko.

"The government of the Altai territory will support further expansion of production on the basis of Rubtsovsk dairy plant. We understand that the implementation of these plans requires an increase in the supply of high quality raw materials. Therefore, we organize talks with the leadership of the enterprises which are engaged in milk production. It is necessary to consider different variants of cooperation between agricultural enterprises of the Altai territory with the company "PepsiCo Russia", — quoted the press service quoted the head of the region at the meeting.
