The largest growth was observed in the segment of construction cargoes – by 3.5 times to 811 tons.

Head of the Department for transport of cargo on the platforms of JSC "FGC" Andrey Shelkovnikov noted the role implemented from 2017 project alternative schemes of loading of construction materials: "To ensure that export volumes of concrete products and crushed stone, traditionally carried in open wagons, we have developed a technology of loading and fastening of cargo and suggested that the shippers transport platforms. As a result, in 2018, we loaded 15 thousand platforms, freeing up scarce rail cars".

He also stressed that the demand for loading bulk cargo on the platform allowed to use cars in a period of low demand and to export the declared volumes, as well as to equalize the load on the infrastructure and attract more cargo from trucks to the railroad.

Transportation of construction materials on the platforms of JSC "FGC" are carried out for the needs of civil and road construction, energy, oil and gas industry throughout the country and in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the reporting period also increased the volume of transportation on the platforms of JSC "FGC" to the level of 2017: timber – 2.4 times (up to 463 thousand tons), 45% (to 65.4 thousand tons), metals by 22% (to 664 thousand tonnes), etc.

In 2018 the priority Railways loading platforms of JSC "FGC" are: West Siberian – 647 thousand tons, in Sverdlovsk – 593 thousand tons, South-Ural – 487 thousand tons.
