The order of inclusion of dairy products in the system of electronic veterinary certification "mercury" will be adopted in April - may of the current year. This was announced by Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana LUT during the exhibition "Tyumen agro", the press service of the Ministry of agriculture, writes the portal of the Dairy Union.
"The agriculture Ministry hopes that the document on the inclusion of the "pilot" part of the finished dairy products to the system "mercury" from 1 July of the current year, and the main part November 1 will be adopted in April – may," she said.
The Ministry of agriculture and Ministry of economic development agreed on the inclusion of dairy products in the system of electronic veterinary certification "mercury" from 1 July, with the exception of milk products, which will be included in her November 1, 2019.
The Ministry of agriculture on February 22 published a draft of the order according to which the ready dairy products will be included in the system of electronic veterinary certification "mercury" from 1 July, and for yoghurts and kefirs certification will begin on 1 November.
It is planned that from July to the electronic certification system will be included milk, condensed and cream not concentrated and whey, butter, dairy spreads, cheese and curd. November will begin to certify buttermilk, curdled milk and cream, yogurt, kefir and other fermented or acidified milk and cream.
