He said that the volume of gross output of agriculture for the year 2016 amounted to 8,685 billion rubles, the volume of industrial production in food processing industry (without processing) – 4,79 billion. The growth of the corresponding period of 2015 was 8.7 and 11.3 %, respectively.

Positive dynamics by the end of 2016 and noted in animal husbandry. Milk production in the region increased by 346 tons by 2015 and amounted to 18 300 tonnes (+102%), production of eggs increased by 0.8 million units and amounted to 53.0 million pieces (+101,5%). Manufacturing of all kinds of meat in live weight amounted to 5.3 thousand tons. (+101,7%).

In the food processing industry the growth of production of dairy products - by 4.7 %, beverages by 4.7%, animal feed by 10.5%, bread and bakery products – by 3.7 %.

The Minister added that the government is working to curb the growth of prices for products of local production. So, for example, the price of "social" bread, subsidized from the regional budget is not rising in the region since 2012.
