On Friday, the September futures quotations of wheat in Chicago, again, for the third day in a row, declined. Investors are still speculative sales after the recent high for 2½ years.

And only quotations of spring wheat are going up steadily on the data about the deterioration of crops.

July quotes of the U.S. winter wheat have decreased:

• soft wheat SRW in Chicago by $0.55 to 168,93 $/ton
• hard wheat HRW in Kansas city for $1.29 to 170,58 $/ton

Hard spring wheat HRS in Minneapolis by $1,84 to 242,96 $/ton.
