Again, investors have become hostages of the American trading platforms. European markets closed before the us, and traders did not anticipate that after reaching a month high in Chicago, the cost of grain will go down dramatically.

Expert opinions were divided. Some argue that there are factors that will support the rising cost of grain in the coming days. This is a possible lower wheat production in Argentina, in connection with heavy rainfall and a reluctance of farmers to sell grain to traders in EU countries and Russia.

Other side of the coin is the low rate of European exports. Currently, total sales of European grain 45% less than last season, which amounted to only 3.15 million tons.

However, Thursday was significant for the first half of the opinions. The December quotations of wheat in Paris showed an increase of 2 euros to 163,25 EUR per tonne (for 193.9 $/ton).
