Egypt bought 170 thousand tons of Russian wheat
On October 10, the Egyptian state company GASC has purchased 170 thousand tons of Russian wheat. The purchase price has not changed in comparison with the tender last week to $198-200/t FOB ($214-215 C&F)
Romanian and French wheat is still offered significantly more expensive – $204-209/MT FOB and $207-209/MT FOB, respectively.
Open market prices for Russian wheat with 12.5 percent from last tender was reduced from $194,5/ton to $193/ton (FOB deep-sea ports). For deliveries to the Egyptian exporters for the additional costs traditionally lay in the price premium.
