All in all since the beginning of the season, the EU exported 14.27 million tonnes of soft wheat, which is 23% lower than the same period last season. The main direction of the export of European wheat remains Algeria - 3,112 million tons, or 21.8% of total exports.

At the same time, imports of soft wheat since the beginning of the 2017/18 season amounted to 3,205 million tons, 22% more than in the same period last season. The main supplier of the European Union remains Ukraine 1.54 million tons or 48% of all deliveries.
