Finnish Valio group plans to build another plant in the Moscow region, where he is ready to produce, among other things, hard cheeses, which were previously imported from Finland. This writes "Kommersant".

The company also intends to enter into long-term contracts with milk processing plants in the suburbs, where it expects to produce products under their own brands, told the newspaper the regional Minister of agriculture and food Dmitry Stepanenko.

Ways of cooperation will be discussed at the opening today in the Moscow region, Krasnogorsk International agricultural dairy forum.

To put Russia in August 2014 restrictions for import of food from the EU concern Valio was sent to the Russian market about half of the total export of their products.

Last week the portal Agro2b.ru wrotethat the Finnish company is concerned about the preservation of the share of sales on the Russian market after the imposition of the embargo, and the Ministry of agriculture and food, Moscow region proposed Valio version of the franchise. The Ministry said that in this case the company must be willing to invest in production, to share their brand, so as not to reduce the share of sales on the shelves.
