Finnish Valio in November 2014 has started the production of processed cheese Viola in "baths" at its plant in the village Yershovo (Moscow region), informs "Interfax" with reference to the press service of the company.

Until the end of the year, the company also intends to start production of oil on the territory of the Russian Federation, the location of the enterprise is not specified.

Processed cheese is made on the new line with a capacity of 4 tons per year, due to which the overall production capacity of the plant in Yershovo increases up to 10 thousand tons of products per year.

"Valio group confirms the company's development plans in the Russian market, which include the expansion of the product range Valio, produced in Russia. The main object for investment remains the only native plant Valio in the village Yershovo Moscow region", - said in the message Valio. Also, the company still plans to develop partnership projects that involve the production Valio on a contract basis.

Group of companies "Galaxy", the capacity of which is produced a range of products for Valio, said that is not going to produce the oil contract with the Finns.

Recall that in October, the company reportedthat launches in Russia the production of milk and cream to replace part of the production, the import of which is banned. Milk production ValioUHT and cream Valio was launched at the milk factory "Galaxy" in the Leningrad region on a contractual basis. It was also reported that the Finnish Valio group suggests to build another plant in the Moscow region, where he is ready to produce, among other things, hard cheeses, which were previously imported from Finland.
