The workshop for the production of cheese on Friday opened on the site of a dairy plant "Yalutorovsk in the Tyumen region. This completes the first phase of a major upgrade of the plant, Danone, reported the press service of the Governor.

"Reconstruction of the plant in Yalutorovsk confirms the Danone plans for development and investment in Russia, the company operates since 1992. Investments include not only the modernization of the plant, but also improve the quality of raw milk, the training of employees. The investment project was launched in March 2013, the total amount of declared investments - 2.8 billion rubles. Currently, the volume of investments amounted to almost 1.5 billion.

Yalutorovsk dairy is one of the largest processing companies in the region. "It is very important that today's difficult economic times, we increase the potential for production of food to meet the needs not only of the region, and beyond it, that is already done, including by Danone. Prior to the implementation of this investment project together with the local producers we undertook to do so, to ensure this production site with large capacities necessary amount of raw materials", - said the Governor Vladimir Yakushev.

Combine Yalutorovsk" already produces sterilized milk and cream, concentrated and pasteurized milk, and about 19 tons of cheese per day. In the second quarter of 2015 it is planned to start production of cheese desserts. According to production Manager Nina Dementieva, for making tons of cheese requires seven tons of milk. Winter new shop processes 450 tons, and in the summer about 650 tons of milk per day. Raw materials are sourced from farms Tyumen, Kurgan and Omsk regions, located within a radius of 600 km from Yalutorovsk.
