According to experts, in July of this year the pace of exports close to last year's, but at the end of the month the supply will be still below 2 million tons (2.66 million tons last year), including approximately 1.4 million tons of wheat (1.83 million tonnes) and 0.6 million tonnes of barley (565 tons).

"As you move harvest, exports will increase, particularly in September, can be exported 4,2-4,4 million tons of grain," — said I. Pavensky.

He reminded that in September 2015, the exports amounted to 4.18 million tons. In August of this year, according to I. Pavensky, exports will increase to 3.5-3.8 million tons, but will also be lower than last year.

"Due to the weakening of the ruble in August last year, exports were a record 4.2 million tons", — he said.

I. Pavensky noted that last week the decline in export prices for Russian wheat continued. Wheat protein 12.5% and more for delivery in August were offered at prices of $164-165 per ton, the bid price was $163-164.

As reported by the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, from 1 to 20 July 2016, Russia exported 1 million 173,6 thousand tons of grain, which is 7.4% less than in the corresponding period last year (1 million 267 thousand tons). The decrease was due to the export of barley and corn.
