It is reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor according to the results of negotiations to establish trade with livestock and crop products between Russia and Japan, which took place on 14 February.

During negotiations, the parties discussed the forthcoming March visit of the Rosselkhoznadzor specialists to Japan to evaluate the epizootic situation and safety systems in the production of high quality Kobe beef, and also similar to the Japanese experts on Russian security in the production of raw and finished products from poultry meat.

"In the coming days the Rosselkhoznadzor will submit to the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and fisheries for approval of the draft veterinary certificate for export of Russian thermally processed poultry meat to Japan", – stated in the message.

Japan confirmed its interest to develop tolerance to its market fresh beef from Russia. "However, in view of the forthcoming personnel rotation accompanying the beginning of the new fiscal year in Japan (from April 1), on the Russian enterprises for the production of meat may be held only in may this year", – said the Rosselkhoznadzor.
