According to him, Belarus has solved the problem of milk production five years ago, and not only fed its own people - 15 million people but also exports dairy products. "This is the main supplier to the Russian market", — he said, noting that Belarus annually earn "no less than $3 billion."

As the Minister noted, the deficit of milk in Russia is estimated at 7 million tons.
 

"Therefore, I believe, a matter of principle – to take very powerful for the solution of the dairy problem in our country. And farmers need to lead this process", — he stressed, adding that "these are our incomes, our jobs, our future".
