In the case of decision making about interventions on the market of milk and dairy products Ministry of agriculture of Russia offers to set the limit levels of minimum prices at the rate of 24 thousand roubles per tonne on raw milk produced on the territory of the Russian Federation:
- for dry milk, freeze-dried skim – 222 thousand rubles for ton;
- for dry milk, freeze-dried, except skim – 293 thousand rubles for ton;
- butter - 340 thousand rubles per ton.
The mechanism of purchasing interventions on the market of milk and dairy products provides for the organization of commodity interventions through exchange trading and mandatory repurchase of products.
Dairy intervention planned after the adoption of the relevant amendments to normative legal acts in the pilot mode during the period of the season "the big milk" and only in the regions, where the need to balance the price level.
