In January 2017 Belarus supplied to Russia 430 thousand tons of dairy products, thereby reducing their share in the structure of imports to 75%. In 2016, the country exported to Russia 5 thousand 642 tons of "milk", covering the market on 81%, follows from data of the Analytical center MilkNews.

Among the main 5 importers of dairy products to the Russian market Belarus traditionally takes Pewee place.

In January of this year, changes have affected not only Belarus, but also in New Zealand, which has increased the supply of fish products to Russia up to 10% against 5% last year (327,4 thousand tons).

Third and fourth places remained unchanged – they are located Argentina(4%) and Uruguay (3%), respectively.
