According to FCS, in the first quarter of the current year the supply of meat increased by 126,4 thousand tons compared to 126,3 thousand tons a year earlier. The value of imports increased to us $383,7 million from $324,4 million in the first quarter of last year.

The supply of poultry meat increased up to 46 thousand tons ($74,4 million) from 37.4 thousand tons ($46.8 million) in January-March 2016.

Fish imports increased by 22.7%, to 110,4 thousand tons ($279,4 million) from 90 million tons ($211,5 million) over the same period last year.
