For the first half of 2017 from Azerbaijan exported 157,6 thousand tons of vegetables (an increase of 73.1 per cent) in the amount of $135 million 985,8 thousand (an increase of 62.7 per cent), fruit – 48 817,7 thousand tons (growth by 34.3%) to $67 million 781,4 thousand (an increase of 1.1%).

In addition, from Azerbaijan to the export during the reporting period aimed 40 315,2 thousand tons of sugar (decrease by 21.5%) in the amount of $26 million to 109.8 million (a decline of 11.1%), vegetable oils – 4 628,3 thousand tons (decrease by 3.7%) in the amount of $5 million 143,4 million (growth of 2.7%).

Also in the first half of this year Azerbaijan exported 654,6 4 thousand tons of fruit and vegetable juice (an increase of 91.7%) in the amount of $4 million 852,6 thousand (an increase of 89.7 per cent), natural grape wines and grape must 124.9 thousand decalitres (growth by 21.5%) in the amount of $2 million 195,4 thousand (growth by 13.1%), fruit and vegetable canned food – 2 of 231.6 thousand tons (a decline of 4.8%) in the amount of $1 million 853,8 million (an increase of 3.8%).

Fruit in the first half of 2017 in the Republic 421,7 imported 41 thousand tons (growth by 10.9%) in the amount of $35 million 799,7 thousand (growth by 10.9%), vegetables – 21 393,3 thousand tons (a decline by 46.4%) to $9 million 978,7 thousand (a decline of 32.8%), potatoes – 104,4 thousand tons (a decline by 5.7%%) $22 million 347,7 million (an increase of 8.2%).
