On 5 March, the Rosselkhoznadzor will consider the possibility of a ban on the import of dry milk to Russia from Kyrgyzstan. About it has informed journalists the official representative of Department Julia Melano.

"Given the repeated attempts of import of dairy products from Kyrgyzstan to Russia in violation of Russian legislation, the Rosselkhoznadzor on Monday, March 5, there will be an internal meeting to consider the possibility of imposing restrictions on export of milk powder from all the enterprises of Kyrgyzstan," she said.

The Rosselkhoznadzor estimates the volume of these exports from Kyrgyzstan as a small, however, according to Melano, the Agency does not exclude the re-export of products of the Kyrgyz side as from the EU and Belarusian companies, which have come under earlier restrictions.

This week, the inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor administration for the Orenburg region prevented the smuggling of more than 40 tons of milk powder from Kyrgyzstan. Products arrived at the border with the enterprises of JSC "AK-Sut" and followed in LLC "Belrusprodukt" (Moscow). It turned out that part of the cargo marking was absent, part of the cargo had evidence of re-marking. Samples of powdered milk from the party sent to the laboratory of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the study.

The Rosselkhoznadzor from March 2, imposed temporary restrictions on import of products from OAO "AK-Sut" (Kyrgyzstan).
