The domestic ice cream market, which has demonstrated nearly 5 percent reduction in market size for 2017, will show the absolutely best indicators of volume of ice cream consumption in 2018.

The main factors of the significant increase in the ice cream market in Russia to 2018 were such factors as the hottest compared to the 2017 summer and holding in Russia of world football Championship. Directly the combined effects of these two factors allowed the market to recover after "settling" in 2017, and in 2018 to reach a positive dynamics of volume of use with the indicator of growth of 12%.

Domestic companies-producers of ice cream started to prepare for the growth of demand for ice cream in the domestic market in advance, before the start of the world Cup in 2018.
