The first stage has been completed, for assessment of the experts received 111 works in the field of protection of plants from 32 regions of the country. The most active participants this year were the Voronezh and Novosibirsk oblasts, Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Tatarstan. Ahead of the second phase until September, the expert Committee will review the applications and contest works will determine the nominees. The composition of the expert Committee on the assessment work this year included representatives of the scientific community of the leading agricultural universities, specialists of the company "Bayer" and the branch unions and associations.

This year, along with students and graduate students to participate in a special contest "Baystate Advanst" were invited and graduate students and University professors. They supervised the students and helped them in preparing to participate in the contest.

Protection of works and the award ceremony will take place in Moscow in the conference. The contest winners will receive the opportunity to undergo practical training and internships in the field of modern platforms of the company "Bayer", where you will get acquainted with the results of applying modern agricultural technologies, and will become the owners of diplomas and a monthly scholarship in the amount of 7000,00 rubles.
