Souzmoloko asks protection from New Zealand imports
The branch association considers that New Zealand milk can force domestic milk out the Russian market.

- The national union of milk producers sent a letter to first deputy chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov with a request to exclude dairy branch from the free trade zone agreement between New Zealand and the Customs union countries.
- Souzmoloko explains that as a result of free trade zone creation imports of dairy products to Russia from New Zealand can grow threefold. As a result, domestic production will be reduced, small processors will go rack and ruin.
