The Finnish company Valio reports that can not import lactose-free products because of problems with the design. Information about this appeared on the official website of the Russian division of the company.

According to Valio, 25 and 26 August, in accordance with the permission to import lactose-free products on the territory of the Russian Federation, with four Finnish companies were sent the party lactose-free products (lactose-free milk, yogurt, curd creams).

"Plants Valio producing lactose-free dairy products, certified by the Rosselkhoznadzor on the production of dairy products to Russia, and it is with these plants supply lactose-free products was carried out previously. However, to import products so far failed", - stressed in the company.

As explained by representatives of the group, the import will not be possible until authorized services will not install the exception of certain types of dairy products from the list of dairy products under a ban on the import. There has specified that lactose-free products does not have a separate HS codes. Valio is the only supplier of lactose-free dairy products to the Russian market, emphasize the employees of the concern.

The Valio group previously reported that resumes the supply of lactose-free milk in Russia from August 25. The representative of the concern has promised that "the milk will come primarily in the shops of Moscow and St. Petersburg" and "we are talking about several tens of tons". A few days ago, the national Union of milk producers (Soyuzmoloko) appealed to the Ministry of agriculture with a request for permission to import from the USA, the EU, Norway and Australia's only specialist lactose-free dairy products, which is used in medical purposes. If this amendment is not done, the bulk of prohibited products will be sold on the territory of the Russian Federation, warns Union. According to the Union, the Finnish company Valio about 70% of the supplied products to the Russian Federation registered as lactose-free (according to Reaccreditation certifying products).
