In Agrofirma "Criscoe" Borovsky district, Kaluga region at the end of last week opened one of the largest robotic farms in the region, reported the correspondent of IA REGNUM in the regional Ministry of agriculture.

According to the Minister of agriculture Leonid Gromov, the new farm is the second major implementation of departmental programs, creating a hundred robotic farms and the fifteenth in the Kaluga region. More than 40 robots in agricultural enterprises of Kaluga region are already in place, more than 50 will be put into operation. These projects, according to the Ministry of agriculture, will serve as a more dynamic development of dairy cattle breeding in the Kaluga region, and the updated technology will help farmers to produce high quality products.

The construction of the complex area of seven thousand square meters in Agrofirma "Criscoe" was conducted from may of last year. The total investment of 115 million rubles. The farm has eight robots acquired under a co-financing of 40% of their value to participants target program "Creation of a hundred robotic farms in the Kaluga region" subsidize from the regional budget. The units will serve 500 cows. Expected daily milk yield is 12 tons of milk. In the future it is planned to construct a platform for rearing.

Recall that CJSC "Criscoe" is a breeding plant breeding cattle Kholmogory breed. As at 1 December 2014 in economy there was 880 cattle, including 420 cows. Milk production for the last year amounted to 2 508 thousand tons. Milk production - 6 270 thousand kg per cow (+106 kg to the level of 2013).
