Supply products is planned in St. Petersburg and regional trade networks.

The company is building a new plant boning (cutting) carcasses with an area of 4 thousand m2, which will allow to increase production capacity to 50 tons per shift. Plans to start in 2018, the construction of pig breeding complex capacity of 60 thousand pigs per year. This is the first full-cycle enterprise in the region - from pig breeding to deep processing.

"It's an expensive venture with a payback period of 10 years. We count on the support of the state in its implementation", — said the Director of the company Roman Shevtsov.

Speaking at the opening of the production, Vice-Chairman of the Committee for agriculture and fishery complex of Leningrad region Alexander Varenov stressed that the government is ready to help and support local manufacturers producing high quality products from domestic raw materials on the domestic equipment.

"In the framework of the regional programme of technical and technological modernization of the company has the right to claim subsidies for the purchase of equipment worth about 35 million rubles", — said A. Varenov.

Today in the Leningrad region the production of canned meat are three large enterprises. The total volume of production - 35 million - pieces cans. The new facility will increase the production volume by almost 20%.

"Meat Gatchina Company" was organized in 2009. On the area of 3.5 hectares is located slaughterhouses, deboning plant and preservation. The company provides slaughter and processing of meat. The company employs more than 100 people. With the commissioning of the new plant boning the number of employees will increase by 140 people.
