In December 2016, mutton (except boneless meat) in Russia cost an average 345,20 RUB/kg is 0.04% more than the previous month, and 1.4% more than in December 2015. Since the beginning of the year the price rose 1.5%.

For the period from January 2014 the minimum price of mutton recorded in February 2014 291,55 RUB/kg; the maximum is in April 2016: 348,70 RUB/kg.

The most expensive lamb in December 2016, were sold in the far Eastern Federal district (RUB 481,39/kg), the cheapest – in the North Caucasus (286,73 RUB/kg).
