As noted in the Center of research of the confectionery market, the rise in price of confectionery is not even 1% and it is below the levels of prodisplay.

Most noticeable has risen cakes (+2.1% to August 2017), biscuits (+0,7%), cakes (+3%). Fell caramel and marshmallows (of -1.5% and -0.3%, respectively), as well as candies, glazed with chocolate (-0.4 per cent).

Executive Director of CICR Elizabeth Nikitin predicts that by the end of 2018 is expected to trend reversal and continuation of rising prices. However, under current conditions it is unlikely the sharp rise in prices of sweets, particularly manufactured in the Russian Federation.
