According to the information-analytical system "Argus", the volume of imports of agricultural products regulated by the Rosselkhoznadzor for the period amounted to about 240 thousand tons.

The bulk of imports came in four product groups: "Vegetable products" (44,8% of the total share of imports, more than 107 tons), "Fish and seafood" (up 17.6 percent, more than 42 thousand tons), "Meat and offal" (16.3 per cent, more than 39 thousand tons) and "Milk and dairy products" (14.5 percent, more than 34.8 thousand tons).

According to the UNE of "Argus" during this period Russia imported over 16 thousand tons (6,7% of the total share of imports) feed and feed additives.

Among meat products, the maximum share in imports was beef (5,1%) and poultry (3.7 per cent).

In the period from 25 February to 31 March 2019 for 21.2% of the products were imported from countries of the Eurasian economic Union; 6,5% – from the countries of the Asia-Pacific economic cooperation; and 13.6% were from countries of the European Union. The main countries – trading partners are Brazil (35,9%), Belarus (18.8 per cent), Croatia (8.8%) and Faroe Islands (8.4 per cent).

Delivery of products to the territory of Russia in the period under review was mainly carried out by road and sea transport. Road traffic made up 72,29 thousand tons. For sea (container) transport had 44,22 thousand tons, the volume of bilge marine transportation amounted to about 116,70 thousand tons, railway transport had of 6.57 thousand tons, air transport – 0.08 thousand tons.
