The export duty for wheat is proposed to be reset to July 1, 2018, said the first Deputy Minister of agriculture Dzhambulat Hatuov. On Tuesday at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich approved the proposal of the Ministry of agriculture to zero duty on the export of wheat.
"It is proposed to zero duty on the export of wheat before 1 July 2018", — he said.
As the head of the Russian grain Union (RGU) Arkady Zlochevsky, the final decision can be made in the near future.
"The meeting discussed two scenarios - zero duty until July 1, 2018 or cancellation fees. Most likely, the decision will be made about the zeroing. The final decision will be made soon - the day after tomorrow", — said the head of the Russian grain Union.
