The market of meat and meat products. In January-February 2017 the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 2.1 million tons in comparison with the similar period of 2016 increased by 2.4%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 14.04.2017 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 208,14 thousand RUB/tonne, pork half – carcasses- 162,56 thousand RUB/tonne, poultry – of 100.90 thous./ton.

The market of milk and dairy products. In January-February 2017 the gross milk yield in farms of all categories amounted to 4.0 million tonnes and increased relative to the level in 2016 by 1.2%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 14.04.2017 on raw milk amounted to 24,83 rbl./kg.

The sugar market. According to the Union of sugar producers of Russia as of March 6, 2017, the operation of the plant for processing of sugar beet suspended. Since the end of July 2016, the processed sugar beet 46 240,3 thousand tons (34.7% above the level last year), worked out 6 083,7 kt (17.5% higher than last year).
