In the regional government explained that Tishurov 21 Aug took part in the meeting of the Russian-Chinese Subcommittee on agriculture of the Commission for preparing regular meetings of heads of governments of Russia and China, which was held in the Chinese city of Dalian. The meeting considered issues of development of trade in agricultural products, including proposals of the Siberian region by improving cooperation with China is one of the main strategic partners of the Novosibirsk region.

"Currently, products of the agro-industrial complex is about $ 50 million in total exports of the region. We set ourselves the target of doubling this figure by 2020," – said Tishurov.

The regional government has reported that at the meeting which also discussed joint formation and maintaining the register of reliable suppliers from Russia and importers from China, Novosibirsk region have announced plans to further strengthen and expand economic ties with China in the field of agriculture.

In 2017, China's share in foreign trade turnover of the Novosibirsk region amounted to 30.6 per cent ($1.3 billion). China is the leading partner of the Novosibirsk region on exports – 24.1% (507 million dollars) and imports – was 36.9% (803 million).

Of agricultural products in China mainly exports products of animal origin cereals products of the milling industry oil seeds and fruits (seeds rape or colza), products for cooking sauces, cocoa and cocoa products, other food products.
