Strategy improve the quality of food products in the Russian Federation until 2030 approved by decree of the RF Government dated 29 June 2016 No. 1364-R. Among the stated objectives of the Strategy: ensuring the quality of food products; to promote the growth of and demand for higher quality food products and to stimulate this growth; ensuring respect for the rights of consumers to purchase quality products. The Strategy provides for implementation of 12 objectives, including improving regulatory frameworks and state regulation in the sphere of quality assurance of food products monitoring food quality, creation of quality management system of food products, updating requirements to food additives.
A member of the interdepartmental working group on the implementation of the Strategy includes 13 members, among them the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert, the Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Avidov and Oksana Lute, Deputy Director of the fgbi "VGNKI" Alexander Komarov and other representatives of the governing apparatus main agencies in the field of agriculture and food industry in Russia. Head of the working group is Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Gordeyev.
