The market of meat and meat products. In January 2017 the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in agricultural organizations amounted to 828,5 million tonnes, which is 6.7% above the comparable period in 2016.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 03.03.2017 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 206,35 thousand RUB/tonne, pork half – carcasses- 155,56 thousand RUB./ton, the chicken carcass – 102,50 thousand RUB./ton.

The market of milk and dairy products. In January 2017, the gross milk yield in agricultural organizations amounted to 1 220,7 thousand tons, which is 4.3% above the comparable period in 2016.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 03.03.2017 on raw milk amounted to RUB 25,13/kg.

The sugar market. According to the Union of sugar producers of Russia as of 27 February 2017 has 3 factory for processing sugar beets. Since the end of July 2016, the processed sugar beet 46 209,2 thousand tons (34.7% above the level last year), worked out 6 078,7 thousand tons (17.4% above last year's level).
