"Patent tax is proposed to apply only to individual entrepreneurs, peasant farmers who have an income of not more than 10 million rubles. And on private farms is generally not covered. Neither the summer residents nor the growers, nor to individual farms is irrelevant", — the press service quoted the words of one of the authors of the bill, member of state Duma Committee on agrarian issues (faction "United Russia"), Svetlana Maximova.

According to the press service, according to Maximova, if people want to make commercial products or to obtain grants and subsidies, they can register as individual entrepreneurs, as heads of a farm and can work the patent. The introduction of the patent system of taxation for farmers is the intention to release the entrepreneurs living in remote areas of unnecessary bureaucracy.

Earlier in mass media appeared information that the proposed bill to expand the types of business activities in respect of which can be applied patent system of taxation would equate Russians with personal small farms, the farmers will take their taxes and will be obliged to buy the patents for agricultural activities, for example, if retirees decide to sell the surplus of their harvest.
