According to operational data of the agricultural administrative bodies of constituent entities of the Russian Federation as of 30 September 2019 in the whole country grains and legumes threshed from the area of 40.7 million hectares, or 87.1% of the cultivated area (in 2018 – 38 million hectares), harvested 109.6 million tonnes of grain (in 2018 – 98,4 million tons) with a yield of 26.9 q/ha (in 2018 – 25.9 kg/ha).
Altai farmers actively started harvesting soybeans, and sunflower, and soybeans threshed with almost half of the area. The leaders in productivity - Soltonskiy rayon (23,3 t/ha), Soviet (21,8) and Zonal ( 18.7 t/ha).
